We are comprised of an insurance company, Independence American Insurance Company (“Independence American”), a brokerage organization, Independent Producers of America, and a general underwriter (“MGU”) division. Our MGU Division consists of Marlton Risk Group and Risk Assessment Strategies.

AMIC is headquartered at 485 Madison Avenue, New York, New York. Since November 2002, AMIC has been affiliated with Independence Holding Company (NYSE : IHC), which owns 48 percent of AMIC’s stock. IHC’s senior managers (who also manage AMIC) have been recognized as innovators in the insurance industry for over 40 years.

Marlton Risk Group is located in Voorhees, New Jersey (near Philadelphia). Marlton has been specializing in employer medical stop-loss since its inception in 1993 and joined the AMIC Insurance Group in 2003. Marlton maintains a superior reputation in the industry for underwriting quality and service.

Risk Assessment Strategies
Risk Assessment Strategies is located near Hartford, Connecticut in South Windsor, Connecticut. RAS has specialized in employer medical stop-loss since its founding in 1992. RAS is a highly regarded provider of stop-loss known for its flexibility and creativity.

IPA provides quality health insurance products that are specifically tailored to meet the benefit and budget needs of middle-income America. Products include HSA-qualified high-deductible health plans, major medical insurance, simplified medical issue plans, short-term medical and additional health, life and critical illness products that meet nearly every price point.
